at the
Fall 2009 National ACS Meeting in Washington DC.

The Committee on Committees then re-elected him as their Chair for 2010.
Les believes that the ACS should be pro-active in developing an
understanding of chemistry in the wider community while remaining
responsive to the needs and interests of its members.
