Outreach to the Community
A Commitment to Chemists, Chemistry and the Community
I am active in scientific organizations outside ACS and will Chair the 2008
Medicinal Chemistry Gordon Research Conference.  I am also a member of
the Executive Committee of the Royal Society of Chemistry (US East Coast)
Section, the Section's secretary and a fellow of the Society (FRSC).

I am a member of 5 Divisions, have organized symposia at the National
meeting for 3 of them and served on the Long Range Planning Committee of
the Medicinal Chemistry Division.

I also served as Co-chair of the joint LSAC/Divisional Activities Committee
(DAC) sub-committee on Local Section-Division interactions.
I have organized a variety of technical meetings, locally, nationally
and for other scientific societies.
