The Executive Committee of the North Jersey Section meets monthly to help coordinate and plan
Section activities.  Many of these meetings involve discussion of important issues but some such
as the celebration of the 75th Anniversary, or social events, are less serious.  During 1999 Les
chaired the Executive Committee.

Initially Les  attended meetings of the Organic Topical Group (OTG) but
after 4 years he was elected to the Executive Committee of the OTG and
also served as its Treasurer.  He gained more experience and responsibility,
became Chair of the OTG and joined the
North Jersey Executive Committee.

Les was elected Section Chair-elect and Councilor in 1998 and slowly
started to take on National responsibilities.

In North Jersey Les serves as
Councilor and was Program Co-chair for
MARM 2005.

the most important of these include
The
