The Committee on Committees
Building Leadership Skills and A Leadership Pipeline
The Committee on Committees (ConC) is one of three Council
Committees of the American Chemical Society whose members are
elected by the
ACS Council.

ConC is charged by
ACS Bylaws with maintaining a healthy committee
system for all Council related committees.  Every five years, the
committee regularly reviews individual committees to ensure they are
operating in a manner consistent with their mission.  Learn more about
the various
ACS committees and their roles.

ConC recommends to the
ACS President and/or the Chair of the ACS
Board the appointment of members as associates, members and chairs
of the various ACS committees.

The National
ACS Council elected Les to The Committee on Committees
at the 2006 Fall ACS National Meeting in
San Francisco.

At the Fall 2008 meeting the members of
ConC elected Les as their Chair
for 2009.
